Vertically-tilting and horizontally-swiveling head, the 48 AF-1 digital is not only especially powerful, but also can be used for bounce flash to great effect. There is also a reflector card that can be flipped open and an integrated snap-out wide angle lens diffuser giving flash illumination for wide-angle lens focal lengths from 18 mm (35-mm format).

The Metz 48 AF-1 is also fully compatible with sophisticated flash exposure techniques such as fast-shutter synchronization, wireless flash using its slave function with either a Metz 58AF-1 as a master or with the camera manufacturers own flash master. Manual settings can also be used for full creative control of your light output.
