The R6 (and R6.2) were Leica's mechanical R cameras. Having a clockwork shutter, these cameras operate independantly of batteries - the battery merely powers the meter. This book explains the operation, and expands on the philosophy of the fully manual mechanical camera - how one's approach to picture taking is influenced by the constraints of this simple 'back to basics' design. Although the R6.2 is not covered, the two cameras are similar enough to make little or no difference so far as the reader is concerned. Hardback; 176 pages.
