Nikon 1 Series - J1 & V1
The Birth Of Something New
The '1' is because the Nikon 1 interchangeable lens camera system is the first of its kind.Built from the ground up, Nikon’s engineers didn’t use existing technology. They went back to the drawing board and re-imagined how cameras are designed. Driven by the challenge to create a camera that could fuse still photography and movies, they created a game-changing device. A camera that manipulates light — and thanks to its pre-post capture technology — time. The first Nikon camera released in 1948 was called the Nikon I. But the new Nikon 1 is a camera from the future.
New - LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 14-42mm "Pre-Order Now" £369.00
Small In Your Pocket, Big In Performance
Specifically, the new LUMIX G X H-PS14042 lens offers a versatile zoom range that extends from 14mm to 42mm (35mm equivalent: 28-84 mm) making it suitable for a wide range of scenes, from dynamic landscape shots to impressive portrait images. It is approximately the same size as a 20mm pancake lens but with the added features that a zoom brings. The two ED lenses and four aspherical lenses correct a variety of aberrations to deliver excellent optical performance whilst minimising distortion levels and chromatic aberration even at the 28mm wide-end. In comparison to the Lumix G Standard 14-42mm kit lens, these new lenses provide significant improved optical performance yet achieve a 58% reduction in size (when turned off) and a 48% reduction in weight
New - LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 45-175mm "Pre-Order Now" £399.00
So Close But Yet So Far

In an industry-first, the adoption of its fast motorised Multi-Actuator Floating Inner Focus System*** ensures that air and dust isn’t sucked into the lens during zooming or focussing, and downsizing in both size and weight is achieved while improving image quality.
The LUMIX G X VARIO lenses are available in the highly stylish and sophisticated colour options of black and silver, a perfect complement to the LUMIX G and LUMIX GF3 cameras. The GF3X kit containing the GF3 body and the LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. will be available throughout Europe.

New - LEICA M9-P £5399.99
Unobtrusive, Discreet, and Resilient: The New Leica M9-P
The M9 now has a twin sister, the new Leica M9-P. In technological terms, they are absolutely identical twins and feature precisely the same high performance qualities. The only differences are found in a few characteristic details.
The Leica M9-P now features an extremely scratch-resistant, almost unbreakable, sapphire crystal cover for its LCD monitor display. Sapphire crystal is one of the world's hardest materials and so hard that it can only be worked with special diamond-cutting tools. The antireflective coating on both sides of the monitor cover glass further improves image reviewing, particularly in unfavorable lighting conditions.
New - PANASONIC Lumix G Micro System GF3 £549.99
The New Panasonic LUMIX GF3
The DMC-GF3, based on the Micro Four Thirds System standard, achieves downsizing by approx. 16.7% in size and 16.2% in weight compared with the DMC-GF2 to break the record of being the world's smallest and lightest system camera. Even though the DMC-GF3 pursued the ultimate compactness, Panasonic did not compromise in the equipment of camera such as built-in flash. Additionally, the operation on DMC-GF3 is smooth and easy with optimum layout of control buttons, the newly adopted control dial and the touch-screen operation.
The Venus Engine FHD enhances its performance with an adoption of new noise reduction technology for even higher quality of image. This advanced noise reduction system realized S/N improvement by approx. 3dB at ISO3200/ISO6400 setting and improved the color reproduction in high sensitivity recording. The result is a picture with stunning clarity if shot in low-lit situations. Furthermore, optimization of the parameter contributes to the increase of resolution. The DMC-GF3 can record full HD videos 1,920 x 1,080 in the AVCHD Format, too.
The DMC-GF3 features the world’s fastest level* of Light Speed AF featuring approx. 0.1 second which is achieved by reducing the detection time for focusing by doubling the drive speed from 60 fps to 120 fps. Besides, in Contrast AF system, focusing is controlled by the image sensor so that no mechanical margin of error occurs to achieve precise focusing. The DMC-GF3 incorporates Full-area focusing and Pinpoint AF function are incorporated allowing more precise focus setting by further enlarging the focusing area.

New - MINOX Night Vision Device NVD mini
Night Vision Device in Pocket Format
MINOX has long made a name for itself as a manufacturer of innovative binoculars and opto-electronic equipment. The optics specialists from Wetzlar are now presenting another reliable and extremely compact companion for all outdoor activities – the MINOX NVD mini – one of the smallest night vision devices in the world. For orientation purposes in unfamiliar surroundings this very compact night vision device is an absolute must for your safety!

Using digital infrared technology they amplify the available residual light, such as light frequencies from the brightness of stars or horizon radiation that are not perceived by the human eye. With the new MINOX NVD the infrared-sensitive CMOS sensor picks up the infrared radiation and reproduces the image on the monitor in the viewfinder. Contrary to conventional tube night vision devices it is not sensitive to bright light sources - thanks to its digital technology - and can also be used in daylight, if required. The optical system provides 2 times magnification and the 16 powerful infrared LEDs are suitable for use in total darkness at a range of 60 m. With this innovative digital technology the new MINOX NVD mini is shock and impact resistant.
Compact dimensions of just 14.2 x 4.9 cm mean that the MINOX NVD mini is suitable for use anywhere. The ergonomic design allows a straightforward, simple operation and makes this outstanding night-vision device the perfect companion for all outdoor activities.
