World’s First Full-time Live View Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera Adopting New-Generation Micro Four Thirds System Standard DMC-G1 from LUMIX G Micro System
Panasonic today announced the release of the DMC-G1, an exciting new digital interchangeable lens camera that is based on the new Micro Four Thirds System Standard. Combining a downsized body and advanced camera features that realize the operational comfort even as easy as that of compact cameras, the super-mobile G1 shatters the old notion that all digital SLRs are bulky, heavy and hard to use. This, plus the superior picture quality made possible by a 4/3-type image sensor, draws a clear line between the new-generation Lumix G1 and all conventional digital SLR cameras
The new LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. lens incorporates Panasonic’s Mega O.I.S. optical image stabiliser, which makes it easy to shoot super clear shots even in low-lit situations by suppressing the blur caused by a hand shake. When the lens is mounted on the newly announced Lumix G Micro System DMC-G1 camera, you can use the contrast AF system, which is implemented in the DMC-G1 to offer a wide variety of convenient functions.
New Leica D-LUX-4 - F2.0 24-60mm LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON Lens £590
Leica 10.1 - Megapixel 24-60mm Wide-Angle Zoom Premium Digital Camera

Leica announces the D-LUX 4 digital camera system. This new camera, similar to the Panasonic LX3, offers a high-aperture lens that allows you to work with an open shutter. Its high speed makes the D-LUX 4 ideal for available light exposures. The D-Lux 4 can take photos in all three formats (4:3/3:2/16:9) to suit the particular recording or playback situation. On the spacious 3" LCD monitor with a resolution of 460,000 pixels.
The LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens 1:2.0-2.8/5.1-12.8 ASPH is a high-aperture lens for digital compact cameras that allows the real enthusiast to work with an open shutter. The lens design consists of eight elements, of which four are aspherical. At a standard resolution of 10.1 megapixels, the overlarge size of the 1/1.63" CCD image sensor increases image quality distinctly. The smallest details of the subject are reproduced exactly.
