 Leica camera and lenses are among the most dependable on the planet. Stories of their ruggedness and reliability are legion. But even Leica equipment sometimes goes wrong. Proof that even the best made cameras and lenses will eventually need servicing. The Classic Camera can service just about every camera and lens ever made by Leica. From a 1930s screw body. to the latest M7, if it's Leica we will endeavour to fix it. Promise. A general service on a Leica M, R, or Screw body costs £149+ VAT; .servicing a lens (M, R, and Screw) costs £79+VAT - in both cases assuming no major parts being necessary. For more involved repairs, a estimate can be provided. Incidentally, don't wait for your camera or lens to break down before getting it seen to; regular servicing - clean, lubricate, adjust - is strongly recommended to keep your Leica in tip-top condition. All work is carried out by Leica trained technicians and work is guaranteed for six months.

VAT refunds for Non EC Buyers
All our prices for new items include UK Value Added Tax at 17.5%. If you are resident outside the EC, we will refund the VAT on any new item you purchase from us, excluding books which are VAT exempt. Here's how it works. You pay the VAT-inclusive price at the time of purchase. We then refund the VAT amount to your credit card. To give an example, a Leica MP costs £1,999.00 including VAT; Without VAT it costs £1701.28. You would therefore pay £1,999 and receive a refund of £297.72 - net amount paid; £1,701.28.
Terms and Conditions
We accept the following credit and debit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, Solo, Electron, JSB and Diners Club.
We can deliver new goods tax-free outside the E.U. (all book prices are exempt from tax).
Most second-hand items are sold in the Retail Margin Scheme, so the VAT content of the price is not reclaimable and the amount does not have to be disclosed.
Stock Items:
Whilst we endeavour to maintain good stock levels of all goods, subject to our suppliers manufacturing and shipping methods, we cannot guarantee availability. After receiving your order we will advise you of any delays that may occur.
Returns Policy:
In the unlikely event of experiencing dissatisfaction as a result of receiving a purchase you may return it for exchange, at our discretion, within seven working days of receiving it. Any goods returned must be in a condition as supplied. All new packaging and goods must be returned as new and saleable items. Also all warranty and/or passport applications must be unmarked. Upon cancellation of the contract, it will be the customer’s duty and responsibility to return the goods promptly in new condition, at their own expense unless faulty. An exception to this will be when a contract is made to supply goods made to the specification of the consumer (e.g. special engravings, serial numbers, custom made finishes, or a specially ordered product at the request of the customer). Postage cost may not be refunded unless the goods are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
